University of Mostaganem is enhanced by the laboratory for the analysis of biological danger level 2 (P2) to detect SARS Covid virus 2/19  

University of Mostaganem, Abdel Hamid Ibn Badis, is enhanced  by a new laboratory for microbiological analyses, located at the level of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life. And the university was keen to equip it with the best high-quality technological equipment, taking into account the security procedures and preventive internationally accredited.

The primary mission of the new laboratory is to detect people infected with SARS-Covid-2 / Covid-19 at the local level, and it works in coordination with the Faculty of Medicine and Hospital Services in Mostaganem. The laboratory will be run by a team consisting of an elite group of specialized teachers from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life, after the approval of Pasteur Institute.
