Open competition to create a better software application for people with special needs

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications organises an open competition to create a better software application for people with special needs “motor, auditory, visual, mental and cognitive ».

This competition aims to provide mobile software and applications to people with specific needs to facilitate their daily life and promote their integration into society, thus contributing to the building of an inclusive information society in Algeria and the achievement of sustainable development objectives.

The competition will be open to all innovators and developers, representatives of emerging companies and individuals, whose contributions will be presented to a specialised committee, composed of the different concerned sectors, to evaluate the submitted projects in order to propose successful application solutions capable to fulfil the requirements of people with special needs and the competition in the software market.

The participation in the competition and the evaluation of projects are carried out according to the competition law which is available on the official website of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications. The winner of the competition will be announced on the occasion of “World Communications and Information Society Day” on May 17, 2021.
