Call for nominations: UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularization of Science 2019

On the occasion of the 2019 edition of the UNESCO Kalinga Prize, the Director-General invites all UNESCO Permanent Delegations and National Commissions, and Non-Governmental Organizations registered with UNESCO to present their nomination to the Prize Secretariat.
The UNESCO Kalinga Prize is awarded to a personality whose distinguished career has contributed significantly to communicating science, research and technology to the greater public.
After consulting with a jury of experts on the popularization of science, the Director-General will award the Prize to this year’s selected great personality at the World Science Forum in Budapest, Hungary, next November.
The call for nominations for the 2019 edition is open until 31 May.
