Call for applications for mandate holders (OHCHR)

The office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has launched a call for applications for mandate holders to be appointed during the 55th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), which will be held in Geneva from February 26 to April 5, 2024.

The mandates in question are:
Special Rapporteur on the issue of human rights obligations relating to the means of benefiting from a safe, clean, healthy, and sustainable environment
Working group on the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas
Candidates who wish to apply are invited to submit their application, including a cover letter, via the online application procedure no later than November 30, 2023, at noon (Geneva time).
