Special Thematic Session at REV2021

The e-Engineering Alliance Special Interest Group (SIG) is organizing a Special Thematic Session, “E -Engineering Courses: Where And When Students Need”, at the 18th International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation (REV2021).

The idea is to present a set of papers about the different aspects of e-Engineering – implementation strategies, pedagogical aspects, remote experimentation, organizational aspects, quality assessment, good practices, existing courses, etc.

The conference will take place in Hong Kong, between the 24th and the 26th of February, 2021.

Due to the current uncertainty caused by the pandemic situation, the conference will be a hybrid event, with onsite as well as remote participation possible.

So, you do not need to go to Hong Kong to present your work. You may present it online.

The papers should be formatted according to this template kits for Word and LaTeX

All the papers presented during the Special Thematic Session will be published as REV2021 Proceedings in Springer’s ‘Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems’ series.

The deadline for the full paper submission to the Special Session is the 2nd of November, 2020

Submit your paper directly in the conference website, choosing the e-Engineering Alliance “E -Engineering Courses: Where And When Students Need” Special Session.

REV2021 is the flagship conference of the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE), the host organization of the e-Engineering Alliance SIG.

The International e-Engineering Education Services Conference – e-Engineering’2021, promoted by the e-LIVES project and the e-Engineering Alliance, is waiting for your contributions.

The conference will take place in Petra, Jordan, between the 22nd and the 23rd of June, 2021.

The e-Engineering Alliance has new chairs

Abdelhalim Benachenhou, Luis Rodriguez Gil

The e-Engineering Alliance has a new chair, Professor Abdelhalim Benachenhou of the University Abdelhamid Ibn Badis of Mostaganem, and a new vice-chair, Luis Rodriguez Gil, of LabsLand.

Professor Abdelhalim Benachenhou already has a long curriculum in the area of distance engineering education, with emphasis on the development of remote laboratories that enable students to acquire essential practical skills for the exercise of engineering.

Luis Rodriguez Gil is one of the founders of LabsLand, a pioneering company in the design and deployment of remote educational laboratories for the development of practical skills in technical areas.

We wish them both success in their new functions.
