EU-AU Long-Term Research and Innovation Partnership (R&I) Programme on Sustainable Energy (LEAP-SE)

We are pleased to inform you of the launch of a call for projects under the EU-AU Long-Term Research and Innovation Partnership (R&I) Programme on Sustainable Energy (LEAP-SE), co-funded by the European Commission (EC) as part of Horizon Europe.

This programme aims to establish a long-term partnership between Europe and Africa in the field of sustainable energy R&I.

The total indicative budget for this call is around €10 million, co-funded by European and African national and regional research funding agencies (members of the LEAP-SE
consortium), with a contribution of €3.5 million from the EC.

Proposals must be submitted before March 27,2025 16:00 CET
