Algerian Researcher Fellowship

The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies announces that applications are now open for the
Algerian Researcher Fellowship for the 2026–2027 academic year
in the following disciplines:
Anthropology – Economics – Geography – History – International Relations – Law –
Literature – Philosophy – Political Science – Religious Studies – Sociology – Science and
Society.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must be an academic ordinarily based in Algeria –
have made outstanding scholarly contributions in their field of specialisation
Researchers holding a PhD (postdoctoral level) are also eligible to apply for this fellowship.
Applications must be submitted via the Visiting Fellowships programme of the Oxford
Centre for Islamic Studies.
Deadline: July 30, 2026.
