Fani Hatjina is a Biologist with a PhD on Pollination. She graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and undertook her Diploma and PhD studies in University of Wales College of Cardiff. She is a researcher in the Department of Apiculture- Institute of Animal Science of ELGO ‘DIMITRA’ in Greece, the Director of the Institute of Animal Science , a collaborating expert with European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and since 2019 the President of the BEE HEALTH Scientific Commission of APIMONDIA. Since October 2022 she also acts as Chair of the Council in International Bee Research Association.
