Dear colleagues and students,

It is with great honour that I welcome you to the official website of the Faculty of Medicine of Mostaganem university.

Our noble mission is to train competent, compassionate and committed healthcare professionals (doctors and pharmacists) who are capable of meeting the current and future challenges of the healthcare system. Through our teaching programmes, our policy and our services to the community, we aspire to cultivate excellence, ethics and innovation.

Teaching at the Faculty of Medicine is based on an integrated, rigorous and student-centred approach. It aims to train competent, responsible and critically-minded healthcare professionals who are capable of meeting the scientific, ethical and human demands of medical practice.

Medical education combines solid theoretical courses with tutorials, practical work and progressive clinical placements. This combination of academic knowledge and practical experience enables students to acquire not only knowledge, but also clinical, interpersonal and decision-making skills.

Modern teaching methods in medicine encourage:
