The Ministry of Higher Education has received a call for applications for scholarships under the EGYAID program of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Egyptian government is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the EGYAID scholarships, intended for international students wishing to pursue postgraduate studies (Master\u2019s or PhD) at Egyptian universities for the 2025\/2026 academic year.<\/p>\n
<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u25cf Two letters of recommendation. <\/p>\n Application Deadline: 15 September 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n \u25cf Application processing fees are non-refundable. \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For students applying for the Arabic Language Center scholarship:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n \u25cf The student must be capable of passing the placement test. \u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Selection Criteria for the Scholarship:<\/strong> <\/p>\n \u25cf Geographic distribution of applicants may be considered during the selection process.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Additional Notes for Selected Students (Scholarship Subject to Faculty Council Approval):<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n \u25cf The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the selected program\/faculty. <\/p>\n

\u25cb 22 years for undergraduate studies.
\u25cb 30 years for master\u2019s studies.
\u25cb 35 years for PhD studies.

\u25cf Duly completed application form (available from the relevant department or downloadable from the Ministry\u2019s website).
\u25cf Motivation letter.
\u25cf Certified copies of obtained degrees and transcripts.
\u25cf Certificate of good conduct.
\u25cf Recent medical certificate.
\u25cf Copy of valid passport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\u25cf Letter of acceptance or pre-admission from an Egyptian university (if available).<\/p>\n

\u25cf The scholarship covers only tuition and registration fees. Living expenses (accommodation, transport, insurance, etc.) are the responsibility of the student.
\u25cf The student must comply with the rules and regulations in effect at Egyptian universities.
\u25cf Any violation may result in the suspension of the scholarship.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Eligible age: 15 to 27 years old.
\u25cf Placement test may be conducted online or in person at the center.<\/p>\n
\u25cf Preference is given to candidates with the highest academic grades and rankings.
\u25cf Documents must be accurately uploaded through the EGYAID application platform: https:\/\/admission.study-in-egypt.gov.eg<\/a>
\u25cf Priority is given to those who have not received a similar scholarship before.
\u25cf Compliance with academic and visa requirements is essential.<\/p>\n
\u25cf It becomes effective after passing the preparatory year.
\u25cf In case of failure, the scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees only.
\u25cf Students are responsible for any additional costs not related to tuition.
\u25cf Students are not allowed to work or switch academic programs without official approval.
\u25cf The scholarship does not cover travel expenses or health insurance.<\/p>\n
