The\u00a0e-Engineering Alliance<\/a>\u00a0Special Interest Group (SIG) is organizing a Special Thematic Session, \u201cE -Engineering Courses: Where And When Students Need\u201d, at the\u00a018th International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation (REV2021)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The idea is to present a set of papers about the different aspects of e-Engineering \u2013 implementation strategies, pedagogical aspects, remote experimentation, organizational aspects, quality assessment, good practices, existing courses, etc.<\/p>\n

The conference will take place in Hong Kong, between the 24th and the 26th of February, 2021.<\/p>\n

Due to the current uncertainty caused by the pandemic situation, the conference will be a hybrid event, with onsite as well as remote participation possible.<\/p>\n

So, you do not need to go to Hong Kong to present your work. You may present it online.<\/p>\n

The papers should be formatted according to this template kits for\u00a0Word<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0LaTeX<\/a><\/p>\n

All the papers presented during the Special Thematic Session will be published as REV2021 Proceedings in Springer\u2019s \u2018Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems\u2019 series.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0deadline<\/u>\u00a0for the full paper submission to the Special Session is the\u00a02nd of November, 2020<\/u><\/p>\n

REV2021 is the flagship conference of the\u00a0International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE)<\/a>, the host organization of the e-Engineering Alliance SIG.<\/p>\n

The International e-Engineering Education Services Conference \u2013 e-Engineering\u20192021, promoted by the\u00a0e-LIVES project<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0e-Engineering Alliance<\/a>, is waiting for your contributions.<\/p>\n

The conference will take place in Petra, Jordan, between the 22nd and the 23rd of June, 2021.<\/p>\n

Submissions may be made through the conference website \u2013\u00a0e-engineering.org<\/a><\/p>\n

The e-Engineering Alliance has a new chair, Professor Abdelhalim Benachenhou of the\u00a0University Abdelhamid Ibn Badis of Mostaganem<\/a>, and a new vice-chair, Luis Rodriguez Gil, of\u00a0LabsLand<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Professor Abdelhalim Benachenhou already has a long curriculum in the area of distance engineering education, with emphasis on the development of remote laboratories that enable students to acquire essential practical skills for the exercise of engineering.<\/p>\n

Luis Rodriguez Gil is one of the founders of LabsLand, a pioneering company in the design and deployment of remote educational laboratories for the development of practical skills in technical areas.<\/p>\n

We wish them both success in their new functions.<\/p>\n

e-Engineering Alliance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0e-Engineering Alliance<\/a>\u00a0is a Special Interest Group (SIG) inside the\u00a0International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE)<\/a>\u00a0whose aim is to disseminate the e-Engineering concept all over the world.<\/p>\n

Help to make this concept grow by engaging other Colleagues in the e-Engineering Alliance. Tell them that they may become members too.<\/p>\n
